The first race that takes place at Kempton Park’s July Evening Racing meeting every summer is The EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes (6F) Flat Race.

Hosted by the extravagant Kempton Park Racecourse in Surrey, the July Evening Racing meeting offers a spectacular nine-race card that includes the likes of The EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes Flat Races and The Class 3 Handicap Flat Race.

Kempton Park Racecourse is amongst the most illustrious horse racing venues in the UK, with the most prestigious meeting taking place in late December in the form of The Christmas Festival.

The EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes (6F) Flat Race is a Class 5 flat race for novice fillies that serves as the opening race of the July Evening Racing meeting at Kempton Park Racecourse every year.

Exclusively open to horses aged just two years old, The EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes (6F) Flat Race runs just six furlongs of Kempton Park Racecourse and usually features a medium-sized field of runners.

Last summer, a prize pool worth £6,400 was on offer, which was split between the first four race finishers as follows:

1st place – 7/2 Thank You Next (IRE) – £4,140

2nd place – 7/1 Chocoya (GB) – £1,232

3rd place – 3/1 Sense Of Romance (IRE) – £616

4th place – 18/1 Bilandy (GB) – £308
