Previous Kempton winner Goldie Hawk returned to winning ways over the weekend, as the four-year-old made light work of her rivals in a 1m3½f Handicap at Haydock on Saturday.
Trained by Chris Wall, the filly recorded her fifth career victory in ten starts for her connections.
The four-year-old travelled into the contest well and she pulled away from her rivals alongside Whitehaven in the final stages.
The filly continued to travel well and pulled in front in the final stages, always doing enough to win by half a length.
Wall’s recruit remains unbeaten in softer conditions, striking on both occasions when there has been some cut in the ground.
The daughter of Golden Horn ended last season with success on the all-weather surface at Kempton in October, keeping on well in the late stages to win by a length and a half.
She has experienced mixed fortunes so far this season, winning two of her five starts to date.
The four-year-old made a late challenge to land victory at Windsor on quicker ground back in June before bouncing back to form at Haydock at the weekend.
