HOLLIE DOYLE: Kempton’s top jockey celebrates 2021 century at Yarmouth

Former SPOTY third Hollie Doyle landed a century for the year at Yarmouth on Wednesday

Kempton Park‘s leading jockey for the year Hollie Doyle brought up 100 winners for the campaign at Yarmouth on Wednesday evening.

The Herefordshire pilot has recorded 20 successes in Sunbury-on-Thames so far this season, convincingly clear of Richard Kingscote and David Probert, who are both on 11.

And she added two more to her tally in Norfolk earlier this week, duly bringing up her century in 2021 in the process, as Oakenshield and Moonshiner both recorded victories.

Doyle is now fourth in the flat jockeys’ championship on 41, sat behind Oisin Murphy, Tom Marquand and William Buick, respectively.

Currently operating at 19% strike-rate, she returns to the racecourse later today at Chepstow for four rides.
