Phil McEntree’s Berrtie bids for a hat-trick at Kempton Park on Wednesday evening with Hollie Doyle booked up to ride.

The son of Wootton Bassett secured successes at Chelmsford and Yarmouth last time out, respectively, and returns to the all-weather surface in Surrey later this week.

John & Thady Gosden have enjoyed a solid run of late and Taqareer is just one of their two representatives in Sunbury-on-Thames this Wednesday, partnering Jim Crowley in the Try Our New Price Boosts At Unibet Handicap.

Like that contender’s handler, his rider Jim Crowley also has a minimal list of affairs on Hump Day with this being one, as he conducts business aboard Mowaleda half an hour earlier in the Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Fillies’ Novice Stakes at 6:35pm.

Ian Williams’s former course hero Kangaroo Point must now win off a career-high mark of 75 after he was disappointingly seen off a short-odds at Southwell back in April, and now reopposes fellow track victor Mack The Knife who partners Oisin Murphy.

Frankie Dettori makes an appearance at Kempton for two rides, joining forces with Godolphin and Charlie Appleby with Before Dawn in the opening British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes at 5:35pm.

Enable ridden by Frankie Dettori wins The Unibet September Stakes at Kempton Park Racecourse.

He then rides Chiasma and dons the Prince Khalid Abdullah colours as he did when riding Enable to two September Stakes victories here in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
