NYMPHADORA (4/1) is joint-favourite for the contest, with the two-year holding a fair level of experience in Group contests for her age.
The No Nay Never filly struck in Listed company on only her second start for in-form trainer Andrew Balding, taking the Marygate Fillies’ Stakes at York back in May.
She has been off the pace since that win, finishing down the field in her three Group starts but she could thrive in this company and produce a big effort.
WINGS OF WAR (4/1) is given his first opportunity to claim some black type, after three consistent performances for Clive Cox.
The Dark Angel colt has finished in the places in his three career stakes and he broke his duck at Nottingham in convincing fashion back in July.
The two-year-old does have to concede weight to all bar one of his rivals here, but he clearly has some ability and is one to watch out for here.
FEARLESS ANGEL (5/1) is stepped up in trip after a respectable effort over the minimum distance at Pontefract last month for David Loughnane, while Kevin Phillipart De Foy’s SCOT’S GRACE (5/1) is given a crack at landing some black type after a commanding victory over C&D on her debut.
HIERACHY (6/1) aims for a first career hat-trick after landing success on her first two starts for Hugo Palmer and Karl Burke’s HONEY SWEET (10/1) returns to six furlongs after finishing fourth in the Pat Eddery Stakes at Ascot back in July.
PRINCESS SHABNAM (14/1) could show further progress here after shedding her maiden tag at Yarmouth four weeks ago for Sean Woods, while Charlie Fellowes’ EVE LODGE (16/1) returns to Group company for the first since finishing 10th in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
