The Class 4 Handicap Flat Race is the seventh race that takes place annually for the August Afternoon Racing meeting at Kempton Park Racecourse each summer.

The August Afternoon Racing meeting is a thrilling horse racing affair that offers a comprehensive eight-race card that includes a variety of race classes and age-restricted flat races.

Kempton Park Racecourse is the elegant host of this exquisite event, which takes place between a selection of Evening Racing meetings every season on the racecourse’s high-quality all-weather Polytrack.

About The Race

The Class 4 Handicap Flat Race is a Class 4 handicap flat race that serves as the penultimate race of the August Afternoon Racing meeting at Kempton Park Racecourse every year.

Horses aged three years old and above can participate in The Class 4 Handicap Flat Race, which runs just six furlongs of Kempton Park Racecourse – the joint shortest race of the day.

A share of a generous £11,200 purse was to fight for last time out, which was shared between the teams of the first four horses to pass the final post as follows:

1st place – 16/1 Power Link (USA) – £6,469

2nd place – 6/1 Busby (IRE) – £1,925

3rd place – 5/4 Lady Dancealot (IRE) – £962

4th place – 16/1 Private Matter (GB) – £481
