The Class 4 3YO+ Handicap Flat Event, which is open to horses aged three and above, is the day’s longest race, covering 1 mile, seven furlongs, and 218 yards at Kempton Park Racecourse, just shy of two miles.

Last time out, an £11,200 prize pool was to be contested, which was distributed proportionately between the winner and placing horses in the following fashion:

The Class 5 Handicap Flat Race is a Class 5 handicap flat race held annually at Kempton Park Racecourse as the concluding race of the August Evening Racing meeting.

The Class 5 Handicap Flat Race, which is only open to horses aged three years old, takes place over seven furlongs at Kempton Park Racecourse and generally attracts a moderately sized field of runners.

Last time out, the race purse for The Class 5 Handicap Flat Race was £7,021 and was shared proportionally among the top four race finishers as follows:

Odds

Odds for the first of three August Evening Racing meetings were seen to rise as high as 100/1 last time out, with an example of this price in each of The Fillies’ Novice Stakes and The Class 4 Handicap.

The biggest upset on this occasion was in The Fillies’ Novice Stakes, where 7/1 priced Expressionism came out on top and converted £10 outright backing stakes into £80 in returns, £70 in profits.
