Racing League Lingfield

After two competitive fixtures at Newcastle and Doncaster, the Racing League hits the half-way point on Thursday evening with its next card featuring at Lingfield.

The contests were to feature on the main track but it has been switched to the all-weather circuit due to waterlogging.

The action gets underway in Surrey at 5:38 with a 6f Handicap and concludes at 8:08 with a 1m4f Handicap.

Team Racehorse Lotto launched to the top of the board after the second meeting despite not landing a winner at Doncaster, thanks to their consistent results in the places across the card.

Team BullionVault (tipped up in our Racing League Antepost selections) are only three points off the leaders in second, while Team ODDSbible and Team TalkSport sit in third and fourth on 115 and 108 points respectively.

Six races are scheduled at the Surrey track, with 69 horses entered across the card.

Alan King Lingfield
Alan King has the strong fancied Letmelivemylife in the opening contest at Lingfield

Team ODDSBible stand a strong chance of success in the opener with the well-handicapped Letmelivemylife from Alan King’s yard, while Team Newmarket Red aim to bounce back to form with Robert Cowell’s Benefit Street in the following 6f Handicap.

C&D winner Mohareb will aim to lift Team Arena off the bottom of the board in the 7f Handicap for Michael Appleby and Roger Varian’s Lankaran is unbeaten on the all-weather surface and looks the main threat in the 1m Handicap for Team TalkSport.

Fame N Fortune is a solid contender for George Baker and Team BullionVault in the 1m2f Handicap, while Powerful Aggie could be Team Ireland’s best chance of success in the 1m4f Handicap for Joseph O’Brien.
