KEMPTON REWIND | MRS HYDE: 2020 winner set for Perth reappearance

Former Kempton winner Mrs Hyde seeks a first win in 10 months at Perth this weekend

Previous Listed Sunbury-on-Thames successor Mrs Hyde is set to chase a first win since Halloween when she reappears at Perth on Saturday afternoon for Brian Ellison as National Hunt in Britain returns.

The duel Class 1 winner from last season failed to reach those similar heights in the recent Summer Hurdle at Market Rasen, her first start over timber since April, but remains in handicap company this weekend.

Just short of a year ago, she beat Paul Nicholls’s Fidelio Vallis in a hot novice, with that rival going onto record a win at the Surrey course over fences since.

Subsequent Supreme bronze medallist For Pleasure, who also won a Grade 2 at Prestbury Park in the aftermath, was back in fourth, while even backmarker Gorham’s Cave won a handicap off a mark of 100 at Fakenham two months later.
