Kempton winner Quenelle D’Or is given another crack at claiming some black type for her connections, as the three-year-old features in a Listed 1m4f contest at Saint-Cloud later on this afternoon.
Scheduled to run at 2:35, Hugo Palmer’s recruit is sent across the channel with some of her best form coming over this distance.
The filly kicked off her season with success over 1m3f at Kempton before thundering home in a 1m4f Handicap at Goodwood back in June.
She has already made two starts in Listed company, finishing down the field on both occasions.
The three-year-old bounced back to form on her last outing for her connections, finishing second in a 1m4f Fillies’ Handicap at Goodwood last month.
She faces some tough fillies and mares at Saint-Cloud, but she carries weight against most of her rivals and has plenty of experience already under her belt for this contest.
Quenelle D’Or will be boosted with the booking of Ioritz Mendizabal in the saddle and is currently a general 8/1 price for the contest at this stage.
